This book is about a specific Mendenhall lineage with a brief beginning in England. It begins in detail with William and Sarah Mendenhall in 1842 when they converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and migrated from Delaware to Nauvoo, Illinois, from thence to Iowa for 6 years in Council Bluffs (Winter Quarters),and finally migrating to Springville, Utah to settle with the Saints there. The story continues from them to a son, Thomas Lovell Mendenhall and Mary Ellen Deal, then to Guy Wesley and Elmina Bramall Mendenhall, then their children and grandchildren.

Their lives and adventures inspire all who follow after as we learn about their Faith, Courage, Perseverance and especially Hard Work.
